WebMar 20, 2024 · Placeholder Proxies - IE. when a player has a lot of EDH decks but only 1 copy of an expensive card so uses proxies as placeholders for the card in some of the decks. This should be a non-issue and playing with the proxy version while just showing the real version if it turns up should be totally fine in almost any situation. WebI have had to run into this issue more often myself with increased proxy use in general, and have only really declined outright to play against an entirely proxied deck that was literally just paper in sleeves in black and white. I am usually fine with a few proxies, honestly, but what really gets me is when players show up without an alternative.
