Staying near Inverurie, we had decided that the first clear day we had would begin with the climb to the Mither Tap from the Bennachie Visitor Centre. Admittedly, it took a bit of effort. With good pace, we took 1.5 hours to reach the top and 45 minutes to return.

Words can hardly describe this place. The walls are massive and shelter the Maidens Causeway which leads to the Maiden Castle at the foot of the hill.
